Perforated mesh is made from 1.6mm aluminium that has round circular holes, whereas stainless-steel mesh is made from a woven strand with square holes. Whilst perforated mesh might not have as good visibility as stainless-steel mesh, it is however, more rigid and has less flex than stainless steel mesh.
