Whilst venetian blinds are easy to operate, certain practises should be followed to ensure operational longevity. These include tilting the slats open before pulling the blind up and supporting the bottom rail on Timber PVC venetians when pulling the blind up. Aluminium venetians are the lightest to operate, followed by timber, with PVC being the most noticeably heavier out of the three.
